It is working!

I am here to write an update on Jeff the diet is working!!!! After a few days of feeling really nauseas (but this is common at the beginning), he has been feeling better each day! AND WOO-HOOOO No pain since day 2!! This is by far the longest he has gone with no pain since his surgery over two years ago (I believe his previous record was something like 3 hours). There really isn't a lot he can eat now, but the diet is in 5 phases - if you look up recipes for the SCD, he can have anything that is OK for phase 1. We have a long way to go, but we are amazed that we are seeing so many results so fast.

As far as our HQs go, she hasn't said anything to crazy lately. Wait let me think.....last night when we were having a conversation about being naughty and what I could do to make her be good. She came back with I could give her "being good spankings." She then proceeded to tell me that she was being good right then and she needed a spanking so she ran over and stuck her rear out waiting, I gave her a silly tap. She than said quite dramatically, "Oh, thank you mommy." Today I asked her if she needed a spanking because she was being good, she wasn't nearly as willing - I think she was a little tired last night!

Oh yes there was also the time last week when we were taking a really long walk in our double side by side stroller. Heidi decided it would be a good time to sing because in her opinion Clara really needed to be entertained. So we were treated to several verse of "Where is Heidi (Clara)" which is a song we sing to the tune of "Farra Jocka" (I know I missed spelled that, guess I need to brush up on my French). We cover our eyes and sing:

Where is Heidi (Clara)
Where is Heidi (Clara)

There she is (uncover eyes)
There she is

Heidi is a good girl
Heidi is a good girl

Yes she is
Yes she is

Switching the names on each verse. We also change to third section each time to. Heidi took it upon her self to loudly sing the song 4 time, properly rotating names. Here are the third section changes she made all by here self:

First time through is above

Second time through for Clara- Clara is a stinker

Third time for herself - Heidi is a big girl

Forth time for Clara - Clara is a goober

This is a very good song for your preschooler, it can be very encouraging and uses hand to eye coordination - just don't let my preschooler around because apparently she knows to many two syllable descriptors! By the way when asked, Heidi says she does love her sister.
