The last 4 days

Monday was my birthday, I have now passed it to what has been established as the late 20's (thanks Jen!) and hit the big 27. Since my big day was on a Monday, Jeff had stuff planned on Sunday. My wonderful, wonderful husband took me to a play at the Pentacle Theater (we saw Corpse, A comedy thriller - it was great), and then when we got home he had arranged a surprise party waiting! I totally had no clue! Good job Jeff, I love you!

On my actual birthday, nothing much happened. I went and picked tomatoes, watched Dragon Tales with a cute 3 year old, and just sort of vegged for most of the day.

Then we come to yesterday, I had to take the van in for a few maintenance things, well it took almost 6 hours. The kind mechanics from West Salem had driven me over the bridge so I could at least walk around the mall. Well I also had some birthday money so I scored a new a outfit from JC Penny's for under $10 and a new pair of knee high brown boots. We had our PB and J's in the food court and the mechanics still hadn't called. So since I was bored, had birthday money and my hair has been driving me nuts for weeks .............good bye 10 inches!!

Sorry about the bad pictures, I had to take them of myself! I was able to cut off enough to donate to Locks of Love. Now Heidi wants her pony tail cut of for kids with no hair, I told her she has 5 inches to go - we'll see how long she makes it, in the mean time I am hiding all the scissors in the house!

After the hair cut I hoofed it back over the bridge, it is a much longer bridge when you are walking, and both kids fell asleep in the double stroller. It was so cute to see them all cuddled together. I really wish I had had the camera.

On the last of the 'last 4 days' being today, I have under gone the feat of making Ketchup. It took me over 4 hours to skin and de-seed 32 cups of tomatoes. Let me tell you this had better be good - well at lease it is better for us and Jeff can eat it. I will let you know the results!

Happy BIrthday. Your hair looks cute. I am looking forward to seeing it in person. Emma said the other day that she wanted her hair like a daddies. I am hiding scissors too.

We were bummed we couldn't come to your b-day party. Your husband was telling us about it on Sunday and was asking God for forgiveness for lying about the cakes to you. :) He was living in deep guilt. What a great guy! The hair is TOTALLY cute!... Oh, and everybody has to have at least ONE good scissors story in their life time! I have two, one were my friend chopped off half my hair (it was down to my behind, and she cut to the top of my neck), and the other was when I decided to cute strips of my eyebrows off during class one day because I was bored. Might as well get it over with under your supervision! :D Happy belated late twenties birthday!

PS. I have a HUGE squash I need to pass on to you. It's the size of a small pumpkin! We're never going to eat it!
