We actually got snow in December! Of course Heidi thinks it is all for her since it is her birthday and all. I got to take some great photos of Heidi for her birthday portrait (which I will save for another post). We had a great morning playing in our back yard. Heidi and I tried to build a snow man, but we couldn't even make a snow ball because the snow was so powdery. So we settled for getting our shovels and throwing snow around! We even did some sledding in our flat back yard, which means it was fully Mommy running powered. Heidi loved it! She even took a few face plants bravely.
The picture below shows that we still have a few apples on our tree. They look so funny with mounds of snow like hats perched on top.
This is as far as Atlas got.
That is our back porch. He truly is a wussy cat. Although today I guess I can't blame him. It was really cold with the wind this morning and Heidi was chasing him trying to pile snow on his back. I myself only lasted a half hour, Heidi loves it and did another 15 minutes on her own.

This is great and a nice forced break. I bet you are glad to have your wood stove working. Glad Heidi thinks the snow is all for her. God is good. ;)
