We've been iced!

Our front yard looks like the wrong end of a high school prank. With the melting that finally came today, all the ice that was balanced on the branches of the tree in our front yard slid off. It is a very twiggy tree and so it had a lot of long pieces of ice that broke when they hit the ground. The result is that our yard looks like someone went and bought about 20 bags of the round ice cubes and dumped it all over our yard!
This is all ice cube size, I promise! It got a little dark before I got the pictures done. Boy am I glad this is all that is left of the last 10 days. We actually had 10 days of winter, I think that is a new record for this area.

Now off to put on PJs and eat pizza in the car while we look a Christmas lights! I love this tradition.
