Jeff's Genetic Joke

So I had some more blood work done. It turns out that I not only have Crohn's disease (confirmed from the doc's opening me up an looking inside) But whats more I also have all the genetic markers for Celiacs Disease. It is not 100% certain that I have both. I am just 3100% more likely than 'normal' people to have Celiacs....or as my Gut Doc put it "extreemly unlikely" I don't have it.

So, in June I am scheduled to have the Doctors do a viewing of my guts to check out their condition. Just an endoscopy (that is the camera going down, not up....) so no big worry.

Personally I think it is hilarious. Also, since I have already removed gluten it is no big deal.

Any body else have a wierd genetic thing? Different colored eyes that you have been hiding? Spontanious regeneration? Able to bend time and space? Come on waive your freak flag with pride. I do.

Hi Jeff... Odessa's cousin Meg here. Good look on the tests. Love the attitude! More important thing and don't forget it :) I don't have anything as TWO tummy diseases that start with "C" but I do have a white streak in my hair that I have had since I was born. Boys say it makes me look like Cruela de Vil!

*Hears all the medication bottles rattling upstairs*
Karen might have something to say about genetics. I think she's on...5 daily meds? Not as serious as your stuff though.
You know Shawn's kids are all Celiacs, right?
Personally, I think its something in the vaccines. Asthma cases are up something like 150% in the last 20 years, and allergies are skyrocketing too. I can't remember even hearing of a peanut allergy growing up, and now we clean for two people who have kids with the deadly kind.

Jeff, Theo here. Did you know that back in 2005 we discovered I was a celiac? It's amazing how much better I feel once I stopped eating gluten.
BTW, you guys need Facebook :)

My dad has crohns. He's not so good about his diet though. From what I've seen in him it's not too bad as long as you don't eat things you aren't suppose to and keep up with any medications.
