It's so quiet
I though I would let you know what we are up to this week. Jeff has the whole week off (yeah) to put a new roof on the house (boo). In order to complete the project, we needed Jeff's dad's air compressor and nail gun. So we squeezed in a quick 2 day trip for Jeff and Heidi to go up to southern WA to pick up the tools and his dads truck. They took the train up yesterday, because I had way to much to do for the final MoPS to take them up, and are heading home tomorrow morning. All of this results in 36 very quiet hours for me. If you have been around my family for any length time you will know that Heidi talks a lot...all the time. I find myself actually turning on music and the TV just for some noise. Clara is now old enough to miss her sister, I don't think I have ever heard her say "Heidi" so many times in one day. I am enjoying this time, but I am also ready for them to be home. This may be more due to the fact of Jeff being gone as well. It has been almost 5 years since I have had to be home alone all night by myself. I don't like it! But boy was my house secure last night!

We are all of two minutes away so if anything give us a call and we can be there in a jiffy! Let us know if you need anything! I'm sure when they return with the tools and the banging and pounding and whacking... you'll be thankful for the quiet!
Hey hon...I'm missing you too...
don't forget, the shotgun is in the closet, .38 on the shelf, assault rifle in the spare room, Shillelagh in the garage, plus a whole kitchen full of projectiles and improvised imparement devices (pepper, etc to be thrown). You'll be fine.
Jeff
