Sprinklers!

We love having the park behind our house. Whenever we get the urge to park play we don't have far to go and it is a beautiful outside eating location. I often wondered how it was kept so beautiful. I figured they watered it because on a summer mornings there is puddles under the swings - but I have never once seen the sprinklers on. It was a mystery.

Our mystery was solved a few weeks ago when it was really, really hot. The parks and rec. guys came out to set the sprinklers for the year and informed me that the sprinklers are usually on at 5:00a.m. (now I know why I never saw them), but for one day each year they are on during the day to run there course after they have been set.

We were lucky enough to be home on this day this year and it was hot so Heidi had a great time!
I wish I knew what day it would be next year so I could invite everyone for a park sprinkler party. Because really, who wouldn't want to run in a beautiful park full of sprinklers!
