We had such a great time and will probably go again next year. We had 2 things that helped make the trip better. Number one, the girls slept really well at night and naps. Number two I cooked everything before hand that we would need cooked and just assembled there. We didn't even bring our stove - it made it so much easier! But there is still nothing like coming home to showers, lights, plush carpet under your feet and a glorious bed.

Triangle Lake
This last weekend we go to go camping with our church at Triangle Lake just south of us. We had so much fun, you know sleeping on the ground (really, we don't have an air mattress), fighting the mosquitoes, inconvenient showers, prepping food outside - it's great. We really did have a great time. Here are some pictures of our adventures.
It actually got warm enough for all of us to swim in the lake, the girls did really well.
Heidi was almost brave enough to jump off the diving board with the help of her friend, but opted instead to have me push her in to Jeff - twice!
Here the brave girl is with Daddy!
We also got to go out on a sail boat when we were there, unfortunately there was no wind so we just motored around the lake, but the girls still loved it.
Heidi's favorite part of the sail boat - coloring below deck and gummy worms.
Clara's favorite part of the sail boat - being up at the front holding on to the rope and yelling WEEEEE!
This is Kayla, Clara, Heidi, and Jeff out in a canoe.
The next day Clara actually fell asleep on the couch watching a movie, this has only ever happened before when she is sick. I think it was a successful trip!

oooh, I agree...camping is so much fun, but coming home is so nice, too! I love that picture of the canoe on the lake. SO pretty!
