Good News!

Here is a quick update on most of the things we are posting about on the bolg, check again soon as I just found our digital camera and will now be able to do some before and after picture of the house.

Derek's new brace is working! After a week the results are that the bone chip is almost in perfect position. It looks like another 8 weeks in this brace and then we're not surewhat, but no halo or surgery. PRAISE GOD!

I was able to witness one of life's amazing things yesterday at 1:45 in the morning one of my dearest friends gave birth to Katie Brooks, weighing almost 9 lbs and was just over 21 inches long, mama and baby are doing great. What an amazing thing to experience.

Our HQ of the week is more of an action, put quite funny and she will probably find is morbidly embarrassing in about 12 years. Last week we were out at our garden which is at a friends house who also has a large hazelnut orchard. While digging Heidi found two shell halves. She then comes running up to me, lifts her shirt up, strategically places them and starts dancing and running around like she has discovered to best thing in the world. I believe she discovered the preschool version of the cocoa nut bra. Oh she never cease to amaze me, I think I need to start carrying our camera more often.
