View the splendor of an American mother
To be honest, I really wasn't that excited to get a minivan. But they really are to practical to not fit in to the world of Kersh some how. I did need a little work, but even after all the maintenance it is still a really good deal.
Now for the rest of our life..... Jeff has gained almost 25 lbs since the start of the new diet. He saw his gastrointerologist a few days ago (who by the way did not have much faith in this diet doing anything) and he was shocked at Jeff's progress. After doing the official "tummy push" test he said nothing feel wrong! Yeah!
We are still in full canning season swing. Today was salsa. I think I have done over 230 jars so far with about 50 or 60 left.... or more?
We are down to 2 kittens and would love to give one more away.
I had a wonderful moment with each of my children on Monday that involves tomatoes and fully shows their differences. A friend dropped off 2 big tubs of tomatoes which were gladly accepted. Heidi's reaction, "Mommy please don't give me a tomato for lunch!" (tomatoes are one of the few fruits and veggies she doesn't care for raw). Clara's reaction upon seeing the tomatoes after her nap - pointing and saying Ooo-oo-oo. kick, kick kick, dance, dance, dance! (Which is baby for, "Loving mother, may I please have a tomato for lunch!!") So I gave in and let her dive in!

After the loot!
Hi all, Jeff here. One thing the GI doc mentioned is that he wants to run tests on me for celiacs disease. I have Crohns but may be one of the lucky few who has TWO count 'em two chronic intestinal diseases. I will need to make my self sick by eating wheat products in order for the test to work. He said it is optional but highly recommended. Pray for wisdom. Thanks

Glad you joined us who thoroughly enjoy our mini vans. I haven't actually had a Starbucks while driving the can though, maybe I should try it. And I am not even sure how I lived life before the key fob.
I got my first key fob two years ago and it was actually one of my requirements when we were hunting for a new car. I was sick and tired of having to unlock each and every car down separately in the pouring down rain while balancing a toddler on my hip. We just got our van a year ago and while it certainly doesn't make me feel "hip" or "with it" it certainly has been practical to own and comes with too many benefits to count!
