Oops!

Monday I was down in Albany with my mom and we had gotten a little turned around. My mom said we needed to be going the opposite direction so why not flip a u turn. I told her yeah right, I'm driving a minivan! Well I swung into the next driveway and decided to try a u-turn. There was no one around....except a cute little black car right in my blind spot. The car turned right with me in the u-turn until about half way in which is when I saw it, .27 seconds later wham!
Everyone was fine, though you wouldn't have though so with the other ladies initial reaction. And luckily we have full coverage on the van so we just have a small deductible to pay. Maybe it is a possible blessing the Matrix hasn't sold, even though we have had 3 people look at it, now we have a back up car while the van is being fixed.

On a funnier note, later that day Heidi asked Jeff why he couldn't turn left on a particular road. He went on to explain that it is called a one way road so all the cars can only go one way. She replied, "Oh, so that means that if you go the wrong way you will hit cars, get lots of cracks in your car, and then have to do lots of paper work?"

It always comes down to the paper work doesn't it?
